World Avocado Congress

The World Avocado Congress is the premium event for the global avocado community. The Congress is only held every four years and represents an extraordinary opportunity for the avocado industry to come together, to share, to collaborate and to collectively influence positive growth of the whole sector.

The Congress is the largest avocado gathering in the world, attracting thousands of delegates comprising some of the brightest minds in avocados including growers, researchers, marketers, tech innovators and investors. It provides delegates, partners and participants the opportunity to access innovation, global knowledge and science to support the development of the avocado sector and to learn from each other to grow the global avocado sector.

The 2019 World Avocado Congress in Colombia attracted over 3,200 delegates, delivered 82 presentations and gave access to 205 talks. It attracted significant interest from global media with 97 media articles published on the event around the world. More than 50 countries were involved in the trade show of 72 exhibiting avocado businesses.
